Whole full-grain upholstery leather hides are sold in shades, not specific colors. The colors represent approximately what you will receive, but lighting, phone, or computer displays all change how we see color.
These are full cowhides, ranging in size from 5' x 6' to 6' x 7' on average. The sizes vary from one hide to another. These are genuine leather hides used in making furniture and vary in thickness from 1.2 mm to 1.8mm. See pictures for the color and finish. The images reflect the actual color you will receive but may vary due to color differences in monitors. I calibrated the colors with my iMac, but colors change depending on the light they are being looked at. I shot the pictures using natural light.
Most hides are from the USA, with some from Argentina, Brazil, Europe, and Sweden. The ones from Argentina are larger but usually have a hole in the top center. This is because the cows have a hump on their back, which is where the hole comes from. If that is an issue for your project, please message me to send you a picture of the whole before I ship. The wrinkles can be removed by ironing the back on a medium setting with a towel over the leather.
The hides are soft and supple, perfect if you make more oversized items, including handbags, totes, purses, pocketbooks, gun cases, small furniture pieces, pillows, and much more.
